With the launch of our new dragging weights we have decided to have a little fun and sponsor a contest. The Catfish Sumo Dragging Weight First Catch Contest will have multiple prizes up to a $555 gift card!


How to participate in the contest!

  1. Fish using any of our dragging weights.

  2. Submit a picture and weight of your catch.

  3. Submit a photo of your rig setup with the dragging weight you that you used.

This contest is a first catch contest meaning the first person that submits the information will win for the selected weight range. There will only be 1 winner for each weight range.

  • How do I participate in the event

    Fish with our dragging weights and catch a catfish.

    Take a picture of the catfish that you caught showing the weight.

    Take a picture of the rig used showing the Catfish Sumo dragging weight and fish together.

    Submit photos on this page or on Facebook or Instagram.

    If your catfish is the first submitted in the specified weight range you win the prize for that weight.

  • How many prizes are there?

    This is a first catch event. Meaning we are giving prizes to the first person to catch the fish in each weight category using our dragging weights.


    The weight categories are below.

    0-10lbs

    11-20lbs

    21-30lbs

    31-40lbs

    41-50lbs

    51-60lbs

    61-70lbs

    71-80lbs

    81-90lbs

    91-100lbs

  • How many times can I win?

    You are allowed to win one time.

    However we love seeing photos of your catches so submit as many photos as you want.

  • Additional Rules

    By submitting a picture, you certify that the fish was caught using Catfish Sumo dragging sinkers. You give Catfish Sumo permission to use the picture, your first name, and last initial in social media, website, promotional, or other content.
